Day 01: Fly to Lhasa. Pick up transfer and afternoon free or rest to acclimatization for high altitude. O/n in hotel.

Day 02-03: City tour in Lhasa visiting Potala palace, Jokhang temple, Norbulinkha Sera & Drepung monastery. O/n in hotel.

Day 04: Drive Lhasa to Gandan monastery, after visiting the monastery, (which was built in 1409 by Tsongkhapa himself and which was the first monastery in Gelugpa sect). Trek begins along a trail going up the slope towards east. It takes 1.5 hours to a pass. From here, the upper Hebu valley can be seen below, left of the ridge. It takes another 3 hours to get to Hebu village from the pass.

To start early from next pass, the best choice is to cross the river and camp near the nomads. O/n in camping.

Day 05: This is the hardest day. First it takes 4 hours to climb up to a pass through a Steep trail which is not easy to recognize, and at least 2 more hours to go down through the steep trail to get campsite. O/n in camping.

Day 06: Walk up to Shukhu La, which is lower and easier than Jooker La pass. After the pass, the valley narrows in to a short gorge before an opening grassy Meadows, and then pass more nomad tents to reaches a junction of 2 brooks, 6-7hrs. o/n camping.

Day 07: This day takes 6-7 hours trekking. En route visit to Yemalung-Padmasambhava’s meditation cave. O/n camping.

Day 08: Last day of our trekking; 2-3 hours walk to Samye monastery and afternoon visit Samye monastery. Which was built in the 8th century by an Indian Buddhist master padmasambhava. Samye was designed on plan of Odanphuri temple, covering a total of 25000 square meters of land. O/n camping.

Day 09: Samye drive to Tsedang via Chingbuk caves. O/n in hotel.

Day 10: Visit to Traduk temple and the tomb of the Tibetan king. O/n in hotel.

Day 11: Drive to airport for your departure.
