Other attractions include the spectacular scenery of the Himalayan giants including five of the world’s ten highest peaks, interesting Sherpa culture and their fascinating Buddhist religion. Above the treeline the scenery is stark but spectacular. The incredible monastery at Thyangboche is wonderfully set against the backdrop of Ama Dablam, Everest and other snow-capped peaks.
