The Kathmandu valley (1310m) hiking area is surrounded by tier of green mountain walls above which tower mighty snowcapped peaks. A full picturesque view of the valley is received by this trek only. This is the best trek to see, enjoy, view and experience
the life around the Kathmandu valley. The Kathmandu Valley hiking route is comfortable full of green fields and settlements of the people who are apparently encroached by the modern urban life of the Kathmandu city but are unable to leave their way of traditional life of peasantry and self sustained economy. Entire route is fully conserved greenery and has very exciting flavor of both tradition and modernity. One does not have to miss the opportunity of seeing magnificent views of the Himalayas because this route also offers ample opportunities for viewing panoramic views of the Himalayan range from Gaurishanker to Langtang and Ganesh Himal to the perception of real proximity. During the season of late February to March, one can enjoy with the rhododendron flower. Also this area is famous to watch the wild animals as well as many specious of birds.
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu
Meet with our representative at the airport. Drive to hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu.(1310m/4310ft)
Half day visit of Kathmandu city and Swayambhunath. PM: Free, preparation for the trekking. O/N hotel.
Day 03: Kathmandu – Kakani (2263m/7424ft) – Deurali(2150m/7055ft) 05:00 hrs.
Day 04: Deurali – Shivapuri (2725m/8940ft) 06:00 hrs.
Day 04: Shivapuri - Chisapani (2215m/7268ft) 06:00hrs.
Walk up early in the morning to see the sunrise over the white-mountains. Breakfast served about 7:00 AM. After breakfast, we start our treks to Chisopani (2194m). It take 4 hours. Wlk along the ridge between the Shivapuri watershed forest and the panoramic attraction of the Himalaya and overnight camping in Chisopani.
Day 05: Chisapani -Nagarkot (2100m/6870ft) 07:00hrs.
Walk between the village and forest, continue our journey to Nagarkot 2300m above the sea-level. This spot provides an excellent view of the sunset and Mount Everest can be seen on a clear day. O/N camping in Nagarkot.
Day 07: Nagarkot – Dhulikhel (1700m/5578ft) 06.50hrs.
Day08: Dhulikhel – Namobuddha (1787m/5863ft)–Panauti (1467m/4813ft) 06:00 hrs.
Day 09: Panauti – Kathmandu (1310m/4298ft)
Day 10: Departure transfer to onward destination.
