Out of many newly identified trekking trails, Machhapuchhre TAAN Model Trek is the trailidentified and developed by Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN) to promote Pokhara and it's surroundings. The trail passes through seven major VDC's and holds immense potential of trekking and hiking activities. The trail offers mesmerizing views of mountain tanges and scenic beauty of streams, lush vegetation and indigenous lifestyles and culture of the locals. There are two options for the trail.
ITINERARY:
Option 01:
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu.
Meet with our representative at the airport. Drive to hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu.
Half day visit of Kathmandu city and Swayambhunath. PM: Free, preparation for the trekking. O/N hotel.
Day 03: Kathmandu - Pokhara (820m/2691ft).
Six hours scenic drive through Prithvi highway by tourist bus or car or 30 Minutes Fly.
Day 04: Pokhara - Lachok to Ribhan O/N in camps.
Day 05: Ribhan - Odane Hill - Chichimle Kharka O/N in camp.
Day 06: Chichimle Kharka - Chichimle Kharka to Khumai O/N in camp.
Day 07: Khumai - Korchung - Kharka O/N in camp.
Day 08: Kharka - Gibli - Takra O/N in camp.
Day 09: Takra - Imu - Kwiwan - Lwanghalel O/N in camp.
Day 10: Lwanghale - Mardi Pool O/N in camp.
Day 11: Mardi Pool - Pokhara O/N hotel in Pokhara.
Day 12: Pokhara - Kathmandu Drive by Car/Van/Tourist Bus (6:00hrs) or Fly (25 minutes).
Day 13: Departure transfer to onward destination.
Option 02:
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu.
Meet with our representative at the airport. Drive to hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu.

Day 09: Pipar - Karuwa O/N in camp.
Day 10: Karuwa- Ghiprang - Ghachok O/N in camp.
Day 11: Ghachok - Mardi Pool - Pokhara O/N in Pokhara.
Day 12: Pokhara - Kathmandu Drive by Car/Van/Tourist Bus (6:00hrs) or Fly (25 minutes).
Day 13: Departure transfer to onward destination.
