This trek is a part of Annapurna trek. The entire trail remains below 4000 me
ters and the trek is quite exciting. The views of the mountains are spectacular, and the route actually crosses to the other side of the main Himalayan range for some unusual views of the northern flanks. This is a wonderful trek where you can explore the Buddhist and Hindu culture while immersing in the beauty of nature and mountains. The main highlights of this trek are spectacular mountain views, deepest gorge in the world, arid valley, Muktinath temple and Buddhist monasteries. Jomsom is the gateway of the Nepal's hidden treasure "Mustang” where the trekkers can see the landscape of Mustang region.
Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival transfer with assistance to hotel O/N.
Day 02: Full day visit in Kathmandu city and evening free, preparation for trekking. O/N hotel.
Day 03: Kathamndu -Pokhara (820m/2691ft6ft) 06:00hrs drive or 25minutes fly.
Day 04: Pokhara - Jomsom 25 minutes fly (2720m/8923ft)- Kagbeni (2800m/9186ft) 03:30hrs.
Day 05: Kagbeni -Muktinath (3760m/12334ft) 04:00hrs.
Day 06: Muktinath - Marpha (2670m/8759ft) 06:00hrs.
Day 07: Marpha - Ghasa (2010m/6594ft) 06:00hrs.
Day 08: Ghasa - Tatopani (1190m/3905ft) 05:00hrs.
Day 09: Tatopani - Shikha (1935m/6348ft) 04:00hrs.
Day 10: Shikha - Ghorepani (2850m/9350ft) 04:00hrs.
Day 11: Ghorepani - Poon Hill (3200m/10498ft) - Tadapani (2630m/8628ft) 06:30hrs.
Day 12: Tadapani - Ghandrung (1940m/6365ft) 03:00hrs.
Day 13: Ghandrung – Birethanti (1050m/3446ft) - Nayapul (1070m/3510ft) 05:00hrs.
Day 14: Pokhara - Kathmandu Drive by Car / Van / Tourist Bus (6:00hrs) or Fly (25minutes).
Day 15: Departure transfer to onward destination.
